Community Health Fair Day

On the 26th July we held our annual Health Fair Fay at the Dolphin House Community Centre. This was very well attended with nearly 90 people registering on the day. There were health information stands with experts providing information and leaflets regarding alcohol and arug awareness, smoking cessation support, oral health, cancer awareness, mental health and physical activity information. We also had well being activities such as Tai Chi taster sessions, Reiki, Acupuncture, and Head Massages amongst others. We hope that next years Health fair day at the community centre will be even more successful and we would encourage everyone to attend. Health fairs are free and are a great way to learn about and promote community health.
